How do I... assign a device driver to a serial port?

1. Select a device in the IP Link® Tree window.

2. Select the Front Panel tab.

3. Select a control button.

4. Under the Driver tab of the Button Operations section, select a device.

5. Click the Click here to add drivers to your configuration link in the center of the Button Operations section.

The Serial Driver Selection window opens.

Note:   After the first driver has been added, the Click here to add drivers to your configuration link is no longer present.  To assign additional device drivers, select a serial port in the IP Link Tree window, and the Serial Driver Selection window opens.

6. Select a device type, manufacturer, and version.

7. In the Available Drivers section, select a device driver.

8. Click Add Driver.
