Contact Manager

Use the Contact Manager dialog box to enter the name, e-mail address, and company name of the network's contacts.

To open the Contact Manager dialog box:

  1. From the Edit menu, select Contact Manager.

 

Fields include:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email

  • Company

Contact Manager > Export, Import

The Export and Import buttons on the Contact Manager dialog box can be used to export all of the contact information from an existing GC file to an .xml file, and then import the .xml file into a new GC file.

 

Export

Use the Export button to export contact information to an .xml file.

To export contact information:

  1. From the Edit menu, select Contact Manager.

The Contact Manager dialog box opens.

  1. Highlight the contact information desired for export.

  2. Click the Export button.

The Save As dialog box opens.

  1. Browse to the desired location, enter the desired filename, and click the Save button.

Import

Use the Import button to import contact information that has been exported from another GC file to an .xml file.

To import contact information:

  1. From the Edit menu, select Contact Manager.

The Contact Manager dialog box opens.

  1. Click the Import button.

The Open dialog box opens (see below).

  1. Browse to and select the desired .xml file that contains the desired contact information.

  2. Click Open.

Contact information from the selected .xml file is loaded into the current GC file.
