How do I... enable an IR receiver?

1. Select a System 5 IP or MLC device in the IP Link® Tree window.

2. Select the Advanced Configuration tab.

3. From the Enable / Disable IR Receiver drop-down list of the Miscellaneous Settings section, select Enable front & rear IR ports or Enable front & disable rear IR ports depending on preference.  Select the former to enable both the front and rear IR ports.  Select the latter to enable only the front IR port.
