Device Settings

You can use the Device Settings option to change the baud rate of RS-232 port on the connected device. You can also create or modify passwords for the device.

NOTE:  While in Emulate mode, the Device Settings option on the Tools menu is disabled.

Serial Settings

To change the baud rate of the device RS-232 port:

  1. Connect to the device (see the Connect to or Disconnect from Device section).

  2. From the Tools menu, select Device Settings. The Device Settings dialog box opens.

  3. From the RS-232 Port drop-down list, select the desired baud rate.

  4. Click OK to save the new setting and exit the dialog.
