Overview of DSP Configurator

The DSP Configurator application is a configuration tool for Extron ProDSP™-capable products such as the
DMP 64, the MPX Plus 866 A, and the MLS 608 D Series. DSP Configurator can also be used to configure devices that use fixed point DSP technology such as the DMP 44 LC and MVC 121 Plus. These products provide wide dynamic range and utilize 24-bit audio converters with 48 kHz sampling to maintain audio signal transparency.

The application provides audio level and DSP processing controls that are essential for setting up and configuring audio systems. You can use DSP Configurator to configure and manage audio processor settings including audio gain, dynamics, filtering, delay, ducking, trim, and feedback suppression. The available processors vary by device.

Depending on the device you are working with, there are several workspaces available from which you can view processing blocks, mix-points, and audio and video ties. These workspaces allow you to quickly view the DSP signal chain setup so that you can fine tune the audio system as needed.
