Executive Mode

Executive mode is also known as front panel security lockout. To prevent accidental changes to the settings on the unit, the MVC 121 Plus provides two executive mode options. Enabling mode 1 provides lockout of all front panel controls. Enabling mode 2 provides lockout of the front panel mix controls but the volume encoder remains accessible.

To set executive mode:

  1. From the Tools menu, select Device Settings. The Device Settings dialog box opens.

  2. Click the Executive Mode tab.

  3. Click the radio button of the desired executive mode option.

  4. Executive mode 0 - This option disables executive mode on the MVC 121 Plus.

  5. Executive mode 1 - This option locks all front panel controls

  6. Executive mode 2 - This option locks the front panel mix controls but the volume encoder remains accessible.

  1. Click Apply to save the change and continue updating other settings. Alternatively, click OK to save the new setting and exit the dialog box.
