Output Volume

The output channel VOL (volume) block for the variable stereo line level output provides a single stereo fader. The front panel volume control on the MVC 121 Plus adjusts the variable stereo line level output.

Adjusting Output Volume

You can adjust the volume in 1 dB increments. For the variable stereo line level output, a single Mute button provides control of the left-channel and right-channel muting.

You can set left or right channel polarity to be positive (+) or negative (-). Positive polarity is the default.

The variable output stereo line level output volume has upper and lower soft limits that can be used to limit the range. To define the upper and lower soft limits, click and drag the upper and lower soft limit handle. The soft limit resolution is 1.0 dB.

Channel mute is located post-fader, post-meter, and pre-DAC (digital to analog converter) so that when you mute channels, the signal is still represented visually in the meters.

Left-channel and right-channel peak meters are located post-fader and pre-DAC (digital to analog converter). The peak meters display levels of -60 dBFS to 0 dBFS, with a last-peak-level (peak hold) readout below each meter.

NOTE:  The meter readout fields display values only when in Live mode.

To adjust the fader level:

  1. Click the fader handle or click within the fader area.

  2. Adjust the level using any of the following methods:

  3. Click and hold the fader handle, then drag it to the desired level in 1 dB increments.
